The CoreBody Reformer™ is a fitness breakthrough built specifically to reform a woman’s body – delivering a core strengthening and stabilizing workout that is fun and easy. The Corebody system can be used at home or at the gym – you may want ot check your area for group classes!

With the Corebody Reformer, you can improve your looks and do your body some good without heavy weights, and endless repetitive cardio. Working out can finally be fun!

The Corebody Reformer Starts Where Real Fitness Starts - With Your Core

A weak core means a weak back, and back pain. It means a weak abdominal area, and that “stomach pooch” that looks so bad in stretch jeans. A strong core lends strength and stability to everything you do – not just in the gym, but in your day to day life! And a strong core makes you more resistant to injury.

Got back pain? It may sound crazy, but using your back and midsection more might get rid of that for once and for all! With the CoreBody Reformer™’s innovative construction, you can do the equivalent of yoga, Pilates, cardio, dance, and strength training at the same time! Exercise the same way that you move in the real world!

This is the heart of an exercise system embraced by major athletic organizations all over the world: Functional Training. If you want to become really good at playing the piano what do you have to do? Play the piano! And if you want everyday living to feel effortless, exercise using the same movements – it’s common sense.

Reform Your Core: Gets Results In 30 Days Or Less

The CoreBody Reformer™ provide four workouts at the same time:

Yoga for joint lubrication and flexibility

Cardio for hearth and lung health, along with calorie burning

Pilates to strengthen and tone your muscles without getting all “bulky”

Dance for fun! Dancing also improves co-ordination, and it is a skill that transfers over to other parts of your life seamlessly.

The Creator of the CoreBody Reformer – Darya Bronston

looking for a complete, full-body workout customized to a woman’s specific needs, Darya Bronston was disappointed to find that there was no product on the market that could fill the niche. So, taking matters into her own hands, she came up with the CoreBody Reformer™, based off of her years as a massage therapist and women’s fitness expert.

To ensure she designed the best best product possible, Darya Bronston enlisted the help of dancer and fitness instructor Jennifer Galardi to develop a series of routines for the CoreBody Reformer™. These new fitness routines combine the best aspects of yoga, dance , and Pilates with the CoreBody Reformer™ to create a workout that leaves your body stronger and more flexible than ever before!

This begins our first article series here on WeightBenchReviews.com
In this series of going to lay down the basics and spell out the seven things that you must do and know about to lose the most fat quickly.

Without further ado let me list them for you with a brief explanation of what each will entail. Subsequent posts will go into each subject in much more detail and give you everything you need to know to lose your belly fat.

You can’t improve what you don’t measure. It’s the truth. As the Cheshire cat said to Alice “if you don’t know where you’re going than any road you take will get you there”. You’re going to need to start out by recording your current vital statistics and your current intake and proceed from that point. The worry is not as difficult or time-consuming as you’re probably thinking it is and I’ll be here to help you every step of the way.

Move your butt. If you want to drop that fat and especially if you want to drop it quickly you’re going to have to move. The speed with which you lose your unwanted weight is going to be directly proportional to the effort that you put forth. Thankfully there’s really no need to spend endless hours on a lifecycle in the gym. I’ll show you some less stressful and easily accessible ways to burn off those extra calories – but you will need to lift some weights.

Frequency of meals. This may not sound like a big deal but believe me it is. Due to the endothermic effect another while logical processes that will be discussing in detail the frequency of meals as a huge bearing not only on how fast you lose weight but also on how your body treats the food that you put into it and how easy it will be for you to stay with your weight loss plan.

The big three macro-nutrients… Without going into so much detail that even a licensed nutritionist would fall a sleep with boredom I will explain to you what each of these three main macro-nutrients categories does for your body and how they affect your tabs and lose weight. Don’t worry, were not going to go on a melted butter only diet. Nor are we going to sit around munching rice cakes and swallowing popes of air in an attempt to starve ourselves. It’s not that hard to lose weight and you can do it without starving. (Note that I said without starving — not without being hungry.)

How big is your plate? In this section were going to discuss some strategies for reducing the size of your individual meals. These will go hand-in-hand with a meal frequency techniques that will be implementing. We’re going to be delving into subjects that you may have heard about for recently: mindful eating. I think you’ll see that once you get into this and start practicing it, things are going to move along more quickly and more easily than you would’ve expected.

How bad you want it? We’ve all got our own reasons for wanting to lose weight and get into shape. And of course, on this most basic level we all know exactly what to do. In fact I could throw up a website with the only two things that you need to do that would make for interesting reading. Here they are: exercise more eat less Not too thrilling,? So knowing what to do is not nearly enough is it? We’ve got to know how to develop a plan tailored to ourselves and our own needs and how to convince ourselves to stick with it. I’m going to help you there.

You big cheater! So many times people derail their own efforts by slipping in Minnesota for giving themselves and getting back on track giving up altogether. There’s no need to do that. We’re going to discuss what to do when you cheat and also — when you should cheat.

I’m going to enjoy writing the series and I hope you’re going to enjoy reading it. The subject has been a source of fascination and despair (ha ha ha) for me for years and I think I’ve tried and learned about just about every tip or trick strategy and technique in the book.

If you’ll take the time to read through these techniques, learn the material, and put it into practice I think you’ll find that burning off your stomach fat is not nearly as arduous and unforgiving a task as it may seem to you right now.

Have you been weight lifting for some time, only to look in the mirror, and find a layer of fat over your hard-earned muscle?

While it is impossible to turn muscle into fat, it is not hard to make it seem like that is what happened. Consistent workouts combined wiht a clean diet will produce that result.

In my experience, it is not nearly as hard to get into the gym as it is to control your eating, but you must if you want to make real progress. One thing you can do to make it all a little easier is to take a closer look at your most calorie dense macro-nutrient – fat.

It seems like there’s always a lot of buzz in the media concerning fat. How much should we have, what kind should we eat, when should we eat it and even should we combine it with protein and or carbohydrates at specific times of the day.

As with most most things concerning nutrition and weight loss, there’s a lot more data than there is real information.

We have to eat fat. We can go without carbohydrates. Hell, some Eskimos go without carbohydrates their entire lives. But they can go without fat and neither can we. Dietary fat is a building block for the internal fabric cushions or organs, it provides energy storage for times of famine — not the times of famine seem to be much of an issue for most Americans, at least not based on what I see at the Wal-Mart parking lot. For us, the main concern is how we are going to lose weight and burn stomach fat.

I do have two real concerns with dietary fat though. The first concerns trans fats. We all know that these are bad for you, but I believe that most people don’t realize just how bad they can be. One of the things that dietary fat is used for is a building of cell walls and other membranes inside your body. You may have read or heard that most of your body is rebuilt about every 6 to 12 months, and that’s true. The problem with trans fats is that when they are used to build cell walls the walls don’t work right. Because trans fats are in properly constructed relative to the size and shape of real dietary fats from natural sources sell walls built with trans fats do not pass through water or nutrients properly. What person eats too many trans fats, their body is literally unnatural.
The other problem I have with that is that it is just so darn calorie dense. Proteins and carbohydrates both have 4 calories per gram. Fat has nine. This means that you don’t have to eat much at all to consume a lot of calories, and remember calories in versus calories out is the key here.

One thing that I would recommend for everybody trying to lose that last 20 pounds or that first 20 pounds is to cut back on the dietary fat. While I don’t want to be the “fat Nazi” (or a fat Nazi for that matter LOL) I do think that there are a few simple things that we should all be doing to minimize our fat intake.

Switch to leaner sources of animal protein. If you’re already a vacant or vegetarian this will be an issue for you of course. Instead of cheap hamburger, buy ground buffalo. It is extremely lean, to the point that I sometimes have to add a little olive oil to the skillet to cook my buffalo burgers. It also tastes better than beef, and by federal law buffaloes cannot be fed all of the steroids, hormones and antibiotics that are given to beef cattle.

If you’re drinking whole milk, switch to 2%. I can’t abide the taste of skim milk, and I can’t really tell the difference between skim and 1% milk. 2% milk has enough flavor and texture that I don’t feel like I’m drinking cold water but I’m still saving on the fat and calories.

Limit processed foods. You should be doing this anyway simply because it’s a lot healthier to eat real food than the Franken foods that are forced upon us by food manufacturers. You’ll notice I said that food manufacturers, and not farmers. They are completely different things. As you move through the grocery store on your next shopping trip, take a look at the labels on the processed food that you’re putting in your cart. I think you’ll be surprised to see just how fatty it really is.

To summarize losing that 20 pounds will be easier if you limit your calories, and one of the easiest ways to limit your calories is to simply cut back on those calorie dense fatty foods. You’ll find that you can lose fat and build muscle at the same time – but you have to pay attention to the entire picture.

Hey! Do you need to pack on some mass, or get a workout done quickly – with no time consuming trips to the gym?? one way you can get that done, and quickly, is to use a wall mounted pull up bar. Whether you have a permanently mounted bar, or a portable “over the door jamb” model, you can be assured that you will get the best upper body workout you can. All it takes is $50.00 or less, and you can have your very own lat machine, row machine, chinup bar and pull up bar in your own home.

See all Pull Up Bars Here

Wall Mounted Pull Up Bar Installation

If you want real strength, go for the permanently mounted bar – you will need some lag screws and your new bar. Make sure you check for stud positioning first, and mark the holes carefully. You’ll also want to be sure that you won’t be drilling into any plumbing fixtures or wiring.

Once you are sure of your positioning, and the coast is clear utility-wise, let ‘er rip. Drill pilot holes for your wall mounted pull up bar using a bit just a tad smaller than the non-threaded diameter of the lag bolts you have picked out. Don’t forget to use washers, and screw them in with your ratchet.

Talk about a rock-solid installation. You will be able to do bodyweight chinups and pullups, and even add weight with a weight belt if you like.

Pull Up Bar Exercise Routines

One of the best things about a pull up bar is the way it works most of your upper body. All you really need to do is add in some pushups and you have a total upper body workout. Here is a classic routine that is really easy to remember that will work perfectly with your new pull up bar.

The 80% workout

This one is easy to set up, and it almost guarantees that you won’t overtrain, because your own strength set up to workout schedule.

Start off by facing your new wall mounted pull up bar with your hands at your sides. Hop up and grab the bar. Do just a couple of pull ups. Rest for 30 second s and do a couple more. Repeat once more.

Now for the test. Grasp your pull up bar, and do as many pullups as you can. Use good form – no swinging or “kips”. So, how many did you get? Let’s say 10. Take 80% (in this case 8).

Take a day off, and then go through the warmup routine as before. Now do 8 reps. You should still have something in the tank. Rest for 2 minutes. Do another set of eight. Repeat until you can only get 4 reps. The first time you do this, you should be able to get 3-4 sets in.

If you stick with this, and do it 3 times per week, I guarantee that you will double the number of reps in your max set in less than 6 weeks!

Are you looking for a new olympic weight set?

Please resist the temptation to try to save money. If you buy a cheap cement filled weight set you will regret it later. But if you will spend just a little more and get a real Olympic Weight Set, you will have a set of weights that will last you for the rest of your life.

Your typical Olympic weight set will come with a budget 7 foot bar, and from 280 to 320 pounds of weights. The usual breakdown on the plates is something like this:
* (2) 45 lb. plates * (2) 35 lb. plates * (2) 25 lb. plates * (4) 10 lb. plates * (4) 5 lb. plates * (4) 2.5 lb. plates

Why an Olympic Weight Set is Better

They are always made of real metal – no cement or filler. This means that they actually take up less horizontal space on the bar than standard weight plates.

Grip ridge on the outside edge. This makes them easier to handle, and to load onto the bar. Some models even have a slot near the outside edge to make the plates even easier to load.

Olympic Weight Plates will last forever. I have a set that is over 25 years old, and they are like new. What’s to break?

You use them with an Olympic Bar. real comfort and safety! Plenty of room between the inside collars, high strength steel, rotating outside collars.

Single plates are readily available. It is really easy to hop on down to The Sports Authority and grab a couple of 45 lb. plates when your strength goes up.

Your Olympic plates will take up less room in your home gym. You can stash a lot of weight in a small area, with those big 45 pounders.

If you have wimpy friends they won’t even be able to pick them up.

True Olympic weights mark you as a serious lifter. And as stated above, the equipment you use with them is always big heavy duty stuff – you don’t have to worry about it breaking.

Compatibility with professional equipment. if you really get into weight lifting, and want to pick up a power rack or a squat rack, you will quickly discover that they are all made to be used with Olympic plates.

If you like, you can get them with a rubber coating (called bumper plates) so they don’t damage your floors.

Handling and storage of your Olympic Weight Set

Handling is easy enough– especially if you have plates with a slot to pick them up with. There are still a few rules, though. Some of these have as much to do with gym etiquette as they do with caring for your equipment.

First of all, always put your plates away when you are through. Not only will they be there for you when you are ready to work out again, but you won’t be so apt to trip over them. You will also want to consider getting an Olympic plate rack. These will keep your weights organized by poundage, and provide a compact storage area.

Leading Suppliers of Olympic Weight Sets

Troy Barbell

York Barbell

Cap Barbell

Body Solid

USA Sports

Other Olympic Weights and equipment

You will want to round out your weight lifting equipment with the below to complete your home gym setup:

Other Olympic Bars – for example, and Olympic EZ Curl barbell will enable you to do close-grip bench presses without a spotter, so long as you have a…

Power Rack – with a power rack, you can squat and bench in complete safety, whether you have a workout partner or not. The catch bars on the side will keep you from getting crushed under the bar.

Rubberized Olympic plates – a must if you will be working out where noise, or floor damage is an issue. Bonus – you’ll be glad you bought these when you drop a 25 pound Olympic plate on your toe. It will still hurt, though

Olympic weight bench – Must have. Standard benches have the uprights too close together. You will find that the 7 foot Olympic bar will wobble, especially when you drop it back into the catches with some real weight on it.

As you can see, putting together a proper home gym will take a little research. But it is worth it. In the end you will have an Olympic Weight Set that will last your entire life.

No Pain = No Gain?

How about this… Pain = No Brain

The oft repeated idea that transforming your body into something you can be proud of should be fraught with terror of the next workout, or an unending series of bland meals is simply not the case.

See all Workout Systems

You can make great changes to your body WITHOUT going hungry for weeks on end, WITHOUT exercising till you feel like you’re going to throw up. I’m going to show you how to do it, right here on this web site.

I have a somewhat unique philosophy towards this entire subject, having been through two large changes in body composition myself. I believe that when we are out of balance, our bodies and minds create pain as a signal for us to move back to the center. When we are in the gym, and hitting it so hard that we feel like we might keel over, our bodies are telling us something. When we have to push with our hands and grunt to simply get up off of the sofa, our bodies are telling us something too.

There is a balance, a center place, where we can take care of ourselves, and also be kind to ourselves. This is a place and an idea that lends itself to exploration, to trying on many different things, and in the words of Bruce Lee:

“Keep what works, discard what does not”

In my journey I have tried many different diets and training programs, yoga, running, you name it. Some things did not work at all, some worked for a while and some always work.

I’m going to share with you those things that work for me, now. I am a 53 year old man, with a background in power lifting. I have lifted heavy, I have lifted light, I have been very fat, I have been lean and muscular. I understand how the body changes over time and in response to stimuli, both internal and external.

Right now, I am a bit heavy, but it does not bother me. Over the course of the next several months, I am going to become lean and muscular again, simply because it is time. I know what works – a weight set, a workout bench and a little sweat.

We begin with the current situation, identify the desired result, develop a plan, put it into motion and simply wait.

I want you to let go of the sense of urgency that so many bring to this endeavor. There is another way to transform your body. A way without pain or stress.

This is a really basic article, and I was about to take it off of the site when it was pointed out to me that we all have to start somewhere. I suppose if this is your first exposure to the idea of the modern weight bench, it could do you some good.

[Review asin="B0032AYHWW"]
See the Full Selection of Weight Benches

A weight bench is the most integral part of any fitness regime, be it at home or in the gym. A typical model of these consists of a weight training flat bench which is usually coupled with a weight set and bar for use in workout sessions. It is the main piece to be bought when opting for a home gym experience. Most recent models of such benches have options of adjusting the seat position to incline, decline, military press and flat; depending upon the type of exercise a person prefers. The prices of these boards vary and depend on their quality, size and other accessories added to them.

It has a typical horizontally extending seat, which is roughly one foot in width and at a height of three feet from the ground. The seat/board is often padded to cushion the user while exercising. The person lies down flat on a bench to do the exercise. Mostly, weightlifting exercises that involve the use of dumbbells or barbells are done on this, hence they are named weight benches. In order to do other exercises, additional pieces that suit the requirements of user can be ordered and placed around the board accordingly so that more exercises can be carried out in the same position.

When buying these, you must keep in mind two important factors – sturdiness and support. A weight bench has to be sturdy in order to handle the weight of the person lying on it, the dumbbells, barbells and other exercising equipments. The body should be preferably made of metal and the supporting legs should be thick enough to not bend. It should be noted that bench should be well balanced and able to support the one exercising; it should not tip when in use. Since many exercises will be done on it, the weight bench should have enough strength to support the load so that the user does not get injured if the weight is not evenly distributed.

The barbells can be positioned on one end of the bench for the person to do bench presses. Leg attachments can also be added to the bench accessories so that different exercises like leg curls or leg extensions can be carried out. Also, other extensions can be added to hold the user when doing other exercises like sit—ups or crunches.

A hyperextension bench is vital for anyone who wants to build up the lower muscles in their back. This region is one of the most overlooked but is actually very important in helping you function in your everyday life. As well as giving the lower back a great workout, one of these units is also helpful to people suffering from pain there. By stretching the muscles and the spinal cord in this area, you will experience complete relief from any discomfort in this region.

There are numerous models out there on the market but one of the best is the DEX II Hyperextension Bench. This is because it has better ergonomic support than an ordinary roman chair and also provides you with a more intensive exercise session. Its unique design flattens your lumbar curve and separates your lower vertebrae to the furthest extent possible. Your lower back and abs will be put through their paces with this incredible machine and you will feel an improvement in strength and power after several workouts.

However, if you are looking for a more versatile unit, the Stamina Ab Hyper Bench will give your core muscles a workout without focusing solely on the lower region of the back. With several purposes, this is a general exercise unit which will fit well into anybody’s home gym. Saying that, it can still provide a treatment for lower back pain and you may find it a lot more comfortable than the traditional roman chair. As far as both of these units go, their construction is very sturdy and they are both great value for money.

The DEX II and the Stamina Ab Hyper Bench will last you through numerous intensive workout sessions with no signs of breaking. They can go as far as you want them to and will suit those looking for great muscle tone as well as those just requiring some back relief. Which one you choose really depends on your personal preference and whether or not you require a specific or a general exercise machine. Both the DEX II and the Stamina Ab Hyperextension Bench are very valuable additions to any home.
